friday + a quote

got my house all festive this week.  i dig halloween.

i am thinking about registering for the moab trail marathon?

running in the early morning this time of year is tops.

i must have these clogs. damn you for costing so much!

there are two brand new babies on our street, plus looks like marv finally hired someone to work on his yard.  so, it's pretty much magical.

i am reading "the ocean at the end of the lane" by neil gaiman.  i was reading on my way in to work on the train this morning when these lines really caught my attention.  i love this:

"adults follow paths.  children explore.  adults are content to walk the same way, hundreds of times, or thousands; perhaps it never occurs to adults to step off the paths, to creep beneath rhododendrons, to find the spaces between fences."

i don't think i will ever be the adult who doesn't step off the path and explore.  it would never occur to me to not step off the path.  thank good ness!  i would be missing out on so much.

i have a treatment this afternoon, then i am going home to take a stab at making vegan/gf pizza.  exploration in the kitchen!  then o and i plan to eat said pizza and watch a scary movie.

have an adventurous weekend lovers!

toodles and xo,

cyr
