ginger snaps

That last post was a downer, so here is the recipe for the best ginger snaps ever!  Cookies make everything better.


1 1/2 c vegetable shortening
2 c sugar
3 eggs
4 c flour
1/2 c molasses (I use full flavor)
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp cloves
2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt

Divide dough and roll into one inch balls and roll in sugar.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes

Hope I didn't leave anything out.
