the moon was big and bright this weekend

can you see the singed hair on gussy's face
that is from trying to attack those little flower fireworks that spin and change colors
he goes absolutely wild for those things and tries to bite them
I am not a fan of parades. The Pioneer Day parade in SLC is a huge thing. People camp out to get a spot starting on Friday morning. No shit. They have BBQ's, blow up mattresses, tents... Our house is a block from the parade route and park where they set off the fireworks. So it is like a zoo every year on the weekend of the 24th. It is a Fry family tradition to go to the parade. Everyone comes over to our house to park early in the morning and the cars line up in our driveway. We have a really long driveway. O and I sleep in and sometimes wonder over to the family spot and watch the parade for a little bit. The one good thing is that we can see the fireworks from home. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful to my pioneer ancestors, but I would just assume go out of town each year on the 24th!

  1. Should of came camping in the beautiful mountains of Idaho alongside the goregous Boise River and enjoyed being breakfast, lunch and dinner for the mosquitos!
