The movie in the park this weekend was Never Ending Story. It was perfect weather and O got to come this time.
We ate homemade oreos, spiced gummies and red vines. mmmmmm

my friends Justin and Nathan

This weekend was super hot.
We got the regular Saturday chores done early and had a great evening.
We went to a BBQ our friends. They bought an older home and fixed it up.
It is lovely and cozy and has a great yard. They have two adorable puggles.

Hosts Laurie and Patti
great company all around!

After the BBQ, we head to a wonderful garden concert.
Our neighbor, Marv (on the left), is an amazing song writer, singer, guitar player.

Our new niece, Haylee, was blessed on Sunday. She is tiny and cute.
Lots of family packed into Andy and Helene's place and yummy food of course.
Helene's lemon bars are so good. I need to snag the recipe.
Kids are so funny when they get together with cousins...

Our nephew Daniel trying out some high heels.

Our niece, Brynn, dressing up with her cousin and dancing for us.

My handsome O

and lets not forget food here!
German Pancake -AKA The Monster
I made it for Sunday breakfast.
When we were young and my Mom would make a Monster,
we would watch it grow in the oven...
Last but not least, a recipe for you.
German Pancake
1/2 cup butter - melt in a 9x13 cake pan at 400 degrees
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
Mix these three ingredients together. Pour into pan with butter. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 425 degrees until golden brown.
Serve with lots of maple syrup.
Your belly will thank you.
