Ophthalmic Photography.

I decided to start sharing some of the photography I do for my work. It is very different from other forms of photography. Mostly I want my family to be able to see what I do every day, all day long! It can be extremely interesting. Hope you enjoy this "out the ordinary" stuff.

These two photos are lit using retro illumination. The reflection from the retina lights up the lens in the front of the eye showing the unusual cataract formation.

This is slit lamp biomicroscopy. I took these photos a couple of days ago. They document an unusual cataract.
